Please scroll right down to the end, where you will find a list of websites that you will find useful and hopefully a lot of fun!

Take care, stay safe and we will see you all soon!

Dear P5,

I'm so sorry that we weren't able to complete our Primary 5 year together, and I've missed you all so much since I last saw you. I can't wait to see you again and hear about everything that you've been up to! You've played a big part in a very different Primary 5 year, and it's a year that I'll always remember.

Thank you for all of the hard work that you've put into this year! I can't wait to see you in Primary 6!

Stay safe, and have a great Summer Holiday!

Love, Mrs Vaughan smiley

Welcome to P5 Class of 2020/2021

Look at Evie's house that she made from natural materials. Such a creative, artistic girl! :-)

Matthew has been learning lots of new skills in his garden! Brilliant job, Matthew! 😃

Lily has been busy learning about 3D shapes! She went on a shape hunt around her house and helped her mum make this fantastic display! Well done, Lily! 😀

Maddy has been busy building this amazing 5 Star Bug Hotel! I think any bug would be very fortunate to have a stay at this hotel! Well done, Maddy!

It was so lovely to receive this photo of Evie and her brother spelling out a message with Lego. Please email me any photos you’d like me to share! We’d love to see them! Mrs Vaughan 😀

Matthew has been busy making egg parachutes! 😀

If it’s a good day, then here’s something you could do outside. All you need is some coloured chalk, masking tape and your parents’ permission!! Use these ideas or get creative! I’d love to see the end results! 😃

Maybe go for a walk, or look around your garden, for things you can use creatively. 🎨

Why not make a junk model? Here are some ideas, but I’d love to see some of your own. 🤖 😃

Try to create a scribble art picture. Visit this website for step by step instructions:

Build your own den!

This is a lovely idea. ❤️

Let’s Build! Use jelly sweets and spaghetti to build a tower. You could also use marshmallows, toothpicks, playdough or straws.

Get reading with Roald Dahl!

Magnificent Michael Morpurgo.

Strengthen your reading with some Jeremy Strong!

Some children love the Harry Potter series and their reading just takes off! Not for everyone, but definitely for lots!

So many other amazing authors and books suitable for KS 2!

Dav Pilkey books are popular, especially with the boys.

‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ books are really popular, especially at the start of the year.

Minecraft books?

Horrible Histories?

It’s great to read Non-Fiction books to expand your knowledge and learn more about everything in our world....and out of this world!

Books about the Bible.

Francesca Simon books are always a popular read with boys, especially at the start of the year.

Poetry Anthologies
