Speech Festival Success
Donacloney Primary School were once again in fine voice at Portadown’s Speech Festival. 37 children from P1-P7 represented the school and achieved a Merit Mark or above. Special mention should be made to the following children who received prizes:
Macy Croft (P3), Jacob Cousins (P3), Jonathan Morrow (P3), Emma McLaughlin (P4), Sophia Murray (P4) and Sarah Sullivan (P6) received a Certificate for fourth place.
Bronze Medals were awarded to Sophia Murray (P1), Mayah Sole (P4), Nancy Emerson (P5), Poppy Dunwoody (P6), Tom Emerson (P6), Faith Jordan (P7) and Lily McKinney (P7).
Silver Medals were awarded to Carmen Bird and Ella Wallace (P3), Tilly Radcliffe (P4), Stephen Kirkwood (P6), Sienna Kelly (P7) and Rose Cousins (P7).
The following children achieved first place: Sarah Morrow and Lucia Larmour, both in P5.
