Donacloney Primary School is a Controlled Primary School situated in the heart of the village of Donacloney. The school was opened in 1979.

Donacloney is located on the banks of the River Lagan, within easy travelling distance of Lurgan, Banbridge and Dromore, Co Down.

Donacloney Primary School caters for children from the age of 3 to 11 years within a spacious and well-resourced building. The school building is bright and airy with a modern interior design and excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. The school playgrounds, all weather pitch, Muga Pitch and grass areas provide ample space for children to play safely during break and lunch times and for outdoor PE lessons.

The Nursery, which adjoins the main school building, provides an excellent pre-school education for children at this vital stage of their development. This helps ensure a smooth transfer to Primary One.

The school has an enrolment number of 260 and an admissions number of 37. The average attendance for the school year 2020/21:  97.5%.
