Donacloney is located on the banks of the River Lagan, within easy travelling distance of Lurgan, Banbridge and Dromore, Co Down.
Donacloney Primary School caters for children from the age of 3 to 11 years within a spacious and well-resourced building. The school building is bright and airy with a modern interior design and excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. The school playgrounds, all weather pitch and grass areas provide ample space for children to play safely during break and lunch times and for outdoor PE lessons.
The Nursery, which adjoins the main school building, provides an excellent pre-school education for children at this vital stage of their development. This helps ensure a smooth transfer to Primary 1.
The school has an enrolment number of 232 and an admissions number of 30. The average attendance for the school year 2005/2006 was 95.46%.
